Students blogging about conservation issues in NL

Hi everyone interested in conservation science in Newfoundland and Labrador!
This blog is a class assignment for Conservation in Geography and Biology (GEOG/BIOL4650) at Memorial University. We will be investigating conservation issues in our province and welcome your respectful and constructive feedback.

We will be highlighting cutting-edge science to address some issues on sustainability  in our province - that includes reading scientific literature and applying it to what's happening in our province. We hope this will help us understand how to guide development in our province in a way that will ensure we, and all our children can enjoy what has made Labradorians and Newfoundlanders who we are. If we want to have a sustainble future our culture and environment can't be separated - we respect our land and the role it plays in our lives.

Enjoy! And we welcome your comments.
Instructors Luise and Evan
